DSH-01   MOTORCYCLE DIN SOCKET CABLE HARNESS FOR FRONT PANEL MOUNT

The model DSH-01 is the solution to mount a DIN power socket in your motorcycle.

These DIN sockets are an alternative to cigarette lighter sockets providing a connection not sensible for vibrations.

Poweroo product line offers a wide range of solutions compatible with these DIN plugs, including gadget chargers that plug in directly, as well as various plugs and adapters. By  plugging in this socket the appropriate charger, directly or trough an adapter you can power/charge various devices such as:

The DSH-01 is a complete harness ready to be installed, including the wiring, fuse holder and battery terminals. It is designed to be mounted in a plastic panel, such as near console panels, fairings, inside fairing pockets in motorcycles where design allows this type of installation. It requires drilling with a suitable tool an hole  (3/4" or 19mm) in the panel where the socket is to be installed. The picture above shows an example of an installation in a Honda Varadero.

Both in the design and manufacturing of Poweroo DSH products, we use high quality materials to assure a long life use of your socket kit. Hinged socket cover, automotive 2 square millimeter (AWG14) wire rated for 105ºC, high temperature rated tubing and terminal sleeves, and waterproof fuse holder. The overall cable harness lenght from battery terminals to the DIN socket is 1.6 m.

 

It is recommended that installation of this product is done by an experienced electrical equipment installer or by your local bike/servicing dealer. The user should not attempt to undertake this work without prior experience or a level of competence. This product is supplied with an installation guide .
