Holder choice:

Within our product range there are model specific holders, for example for the iPad. Those specific models are designed with the exact measurements of the tablet, thus being only meant to be used without any protection case. Universal mounts are available in various sizes, covering the use of tablets with or without protection cases.

Holders for  Apple iPad:

iPad 2,3 and 4 without case: RAM-HOL-AP8 or RAM-HOL-AP8L (with lock)

iPad 2,3 and 4 with case: RAM-HOL-TAB3 or RAM-HOL-TABL3 (with keylock)

mini iPad without case: RAM-HOL-AP14

mini iPad without case: RAM-HOL-TAB12 or RAM-HOL-TABL12 (with keylock)

iPad Air: RAM-HOL-TAB6 or RAM-HOL-TABL6 (with keylock)

For Phablets and 7" Tablets we stock too specific and universal holders, being available too the X-Grip holder RAM-HOL-UN8B.  Mount choice:

RAM^®  Mounting systems are unique in their versatility, due to the patented ball system. Whatever holder model you have choosen for your tablet, it will be compatible with the various B ball mounting options available. In the bottom of each holder detailed product information page you will find the recommended mounting parts. Most common are suction cup or seat rail mounts.

Suction cup mounts:

These solutions use the powerfull 3.3" suction-cup base, widely proven in extreme conditions such as 4x4 vehocles or aircraft. The mounting kits include the aluminium arm and the base with ball for the holder. Besides the strenght of the mount, it allows the set and unset of it with easiness, as well as to adjust the view angle as desired by the user. Choices are the kits RAM-B-166 or RAM-B-166-202 depending on the holder model choosen.

Seat rail mounts:

This mounting option uses RAM POD I system. A hard aluminium pole is fixed to the car passenger  seat rail trough a part shown to the right. The tablet holder adapts to the top of the pole, being able to adjust to the desired view angle of the user, either it is the driver or the passenger. Choices are the kits RAM-B-316-1-238 or RAM-B-316-202 depending on the holder model choosen.
