Locatis is a company based in Portugal, specializing in the manufacture and marketing of accessories for GPS and other gadgets. We started our operations in June 2000, GPS cable manufacturing being our major activity. Our products are exported to Europen Union customers, as well as to the USA and Brazil.  

 

Our product line has developed significantly over the past years, with a strong focus in specialized areas, an example being the motorcycle accessories market. We offer standard products like power and data cables, as well as unique solutions, for example our successfull direct USB to GPS cables.

 

Design of new solutions is a process where we always have the customer and their application in mind. The reliability of our products is paramount and widely recognized. To achieve prompt delivery schedules we stock components and parts in significant  quantities.

 

 

We welcome OEM projects, being able to adress specific customer/application requirements in time scales. Our production is flexible and adaptable to small runs. Every single cable is tested to assure the objective of zero defects on arrival to the Customer. 

 

We are located only one hour's drive from one of the best plastics  moulding centres in Europe. We have now established partnerships with many plastics tooling designers to assure swift  and flexible devepment of new products.

 

From 2007, Locatis is the Portuguese distributor of RAM^® products. RAM are an internationally renowned mounting systems manufacturer from Seattle, USA. Now that we have these professional mounting systems we can offer a complete one-stop supplier solution for all your  accessory requirements.

 

Benefiting from our long term experience, knowledge of GPS technology and markets, we also provide consultancy and training services on a case-by-case basis.
